Barangay San Nicolas
BRIEF HISTORY OF BARANGAY SAN NICOLAS
One of the Barangays comprising the Poblacion, it was declared as a Barangay in 1898 and named in honor of Don Nicolas Rigor Encarnacion a former Gobernadorcillio of the town.
Also one of the smallest (in terms of land area with only 64.01 hectares) but active Barangays engaged in businesses, Barangay San Nicolas maintains its growth in terms of industry and entrepreneurship. The population of the Barangay reached up to 2,854 individuals or 634 households.
