Barangay Cabuluan
BRIEF HISTORY OF BARANGAY CABULUAN
A former Sitio of Barangay Balayang it was made a separate barrio in 1960 and retained its name “CABULUAN†denoting the abundant growth of “BULO†along the Balayang River which runs thru the new Barangay.
With a land area covering 221.94 hectares, the main source of income is generated out of their own farmlands with a recorded number of farmers reaching 138. Other household heads engage with agricultural services (29 household heads). A total of 157 households are actively engaged with agricultural activities, thus considering Cabuluan as an Agricultural community.

Employment rate is fairly high with 225 household heads as self-employed, nine professionally-employed and others who venture into small-scale and family-based businesses. Sixty-nine household heads depend on their contractual wages while 27 others are supported by regular salary out of employment.
